Authentication

Authentication is the process of determining how a user accesses, sign's in, to your forum. The default Authentication for Vanilla is Password. The Password - Generated by Administrator when adding a new user or user defined on Sign Up.

Tip: If you are ever locked out of your forum you can always log in using your original Vanilla email and password at http://yourdomain.com/vanilla/entry/password

Other forms of Authentication can be enabled by Plugins. Most common Authentication alternative is the Single Sign On Plugin.
