Hi, I run a non profit forum (very small) and I've made some modifications to the core because I when I added the spanish locale it did not translate everything. I am not a developer and I am on a one man forum admin/promoter mission.
Right now I have all modifications ready (which mostly were changing text to spanish), I added some menu items directly to the default.master.php and a facebook like button.
I made some modifications to the style.css to display the information better. No big changes however.
I also installed some plug ins such as the QnA, Gravatar, Facebook connect. I tried to stick to those approved.
However, I just found out that the QnA module is not letting me change from Question to Discussion it just stays as question.
I don't have the budget for a hosting plan.
I was wondering if you offered consulting services. Basically what I would like to be able to do is have the same exact forum but to properly implement the changes that I did to the core.

Hi Lincoln, I mentioned you in a post, not knowing you are part of the Vanilla development team. I'm looking for a way to force Wordpress and Vanilla to share a user table. All of the single sign on solutions seem to duplicate users (Wordpress user exists, then get's recreated in Vanilla). Is your Glue project the best way to achieve this?

I have upgraded to the latest version and still have privacy issues with activity feeds.. If i switch the profile view of users 'ON' and switch the activity 'OFF' in the roles & permissions of a user 'GARDEN' it still displays the whole activity of users... I have logged out and browsed the forum as a guest and I can see all 'MY' (administrator) activity including persoanl emails and permission changes with other users I dont understand why this is happening Please help i'm losing users.November 2011
