    Yeah, it's kind of sad about SMF. Back when I used it, it was still under heavy/active development, but it took them so long to get 1.2 out the door. It still has some of the best in-line comments of any PHP forum, though, really made understanding the thing that much easier.

  Wow, I signed up back in Oct 2005? Awesome. Now that I think about it, I was using PunBB and SMF back in 2002-2003. Wow that was a looong time ago.
