  • Todd, amusingly your search gives me zero results and this discussion is the top ranked Google result for "vanilla rss feed". You know, lately I've been using Google to search this forum. Works better than the native search, which brings a lot of V…

  • Sorry to resurrect an old discussion, but... Is it possible to have the month names translated somehow?
  • The plugin I wanted to translate is T()'d. Indeed, the plugin translation works if I put it into my locale pack.
  • And I hope that localization forum will be separated too. Most of localization issues are completely different from plugin development. Good idea!
  • Thanks to the tags I found the answer: the feed is already enabled at /discussions/feed.rss. Off topic: Vanilla really needs a better search system.

  • I'm interested too in converting an IP.Board 3 forum.
  • Take a look here, I had a similar problem with the Romanian characters.
  • A small issue: the "Quote" links are visible for guests - obviously this is useless because they cannot post messages.

  • PS: I am using a Vanilla 2 package downloaded today from GitHub. Markdown looks like it's working in the message previews, but not in the actual posted messages.

  • I've installed this plugin in Vanilla 2 and it doesn't seem to be working. Is there something else I should do after enabling the plugin?

  • I've just installed Snippets in a brand new Vanilla 1.1.9 forum (empty database, no customizations, no extensions except Snippets and SetList) and I get this error on every page: Notice: Undefined index: QWIKPOST_MODE in /PATH/TO/ROOT/extensions/Sn…

  • Not working in 1.1.10, at least not in my installation. This extension should be in the core package, please someone fix it.

  • It would be awesome if someone could update this extension to work with Flash 10.

  • This extension doesn't work on Mac OS X. The "Copy As" menu appears on click but nothing goes into the clipboard. Tested on Firefox 3.0.10 and Safari 4. Any ideas for a fix?

  • I'm having similar problems with the Romanian translation. I eventually gave up and let everything on the Activity page in English.
  • vB/IPB and Vanilla 2 are like apples and oranges. :) vB/IPB are suitable for Facebook-like communities, with a lot of interaction between members, and if you need out of the box features like attachments, image galleries, blogs etc. Vanilla is grea…
  • Take a look in /conf/config-defaults.php, under the line //Default Preferences there are options for default notifications. Copy them in config.php and set them as you wish.
  • That's interesting. I was wondering why the separate locale folders do not work for translations yet.
  • That's the page. If you have Vanilla installed in a /vanilla directory, then the url is http://yourwebsite.com/vanilla/utility/structure.

  • Oops, sorry for posting twice. And remove all the < br / > from the code, they were inserted by the forum here (< code > tag parsing bugs?)

  • Nevermind, I figured out myself. :)
  • @TiGR - thank you, it's working. And also related to this subject: in the same PHP file the $Code and $Translation arrays should be updated to include some of the other international characters. In my installation I added ș/Ș and ț/Ț which are used …

  • The lack of an attachment plugin for Vanilla2 made me choose Vanilla 1 for a new website I'm launching. My biggest concern now is what's going to happen with the attachments when I upgrade to Vanilla 2. As @vegano suggested above, please make the n…
