Looks like I'm in the same boat. Anyway to reset them? Nothing I do seems to change them. What about making new roles with fresh permissions? And moving users to them/deleting the old corrupt ones? Would this works?

They really aren't I swear! ;) I checked and they are few rows of html but the vast majority IS text. Is there a way to fix it?

After some fiddling I have it working with my imported content using your original plugin at the top. How easy would it be to add the "Continue Reading" to the original version.

This stuff imported from V1 has caused problems since the beginning and I've never been able to upgrade because of them. With your new updated plugin it displays no images at all on these imported discussions. :(( This imported content is displayed…

Oh and somehow enabling this new version moves the formatting all around on the admin dashboard. (Puts left column on right side with formatting all weird.)

Ok I played with it a bit, it will show images for newly created discussions, not discussions that are imported (which my whole forum is right now). The last version worked with everything but was the wrong size. This new version only displays image…

Continue Reading is Great! Videos now work and look great! Images don't appear anymore, maybe because of the next problem? It seems to have defaulted back to the 15 word excerpt with no way to change it.

My hero! Another thing this plugin could use is a "... Continue Reading" link at the end when text is truncated. Otherwise they have to click the heading and with images that can be a long way from the bottom.

Wow this is so great that it works with images now! The displayed images don't seem to resize properly and are much larger, overflowing the blog. Any ideas?

Thanks for trying to help, but when the posts are edited they stay plain text. If an image url is used and the embed an image code is used the url vanishes from the published comment but still appears when the comment is edited.

This is the last thing stopping me from switching my site over to V2. Other people using imported V1 forums must have experienced this. Could someone please take a look into this. Thank you!

Yes! I have been wondering this too. None of my Vanilla 1 images or urls display when imported into V2. I can edit the comment and seem them there. But they never display. @Lincoln Do you know anything about this problem?

Now my custom pages have no sidebar at all, just a searchbox. Anyway I can add the full sidebar from the rest of the forum?
