  • Is it at all possible to allow everyone to VIEW the poll, but only allow certain groups to participate in the poll? This is a huge issue right now for me because a certain roll of people on my forum vote people in, and I'd like the people trying to…

  • Ignore me entirely, I am so stupid.
  • Got it, was just targeting the wrong spans in my CSS. Still would like to know how to get out of the source entirely though, not just hide it with CSS to avoid the excessive markup.
  • Actually it looks like there are some spans in the whole grid that don't need to be there at all, but putting display:none in the css isn't getting rid of them for some reason. The plot thickens.
  • Okay I'm a moron... my conf/settings.php file that I was supposed to edit for the extension was running on my localhost. I didn't even think to check the paths that would obviously be different on my home server and my live server. So I just had t…
  • I already deleted the .htaccess file and restored the settings.php to it's original state. The above lines are in the init_vanilla.php already, also the Class.Context.php file is in the library as well. This is weird and a pain the butt since I sp…
  • Bump... this has got to be a pretty simple error message for the people that know the forums.
  • Yeah, I did that. Just edited. Got this error: Fatal error: Class 'Context' not found in /users/home/joshuajenkins/web/public/pssrnd07/appg/init_vanilla.php on line 44 Thanks for the reply.
  • Arm and Hammer!
  • I can't really do that as I have a really heavily modified theme which will most likely break with an update or I'll have to manually add in some hooks. I have a client breathing down my ass. I'm not asking you specifically though, Jazzman. I rea…
  • Same exact error. Waiting to launch a fairly large forum but can't find a fix for this. Any help?
  • Yeah Joe is on the right track. It's just an issue of finding the remainder to figure out if the discussion row is odd or even. I've done it a hundred times for my own applications, but I'm a little afraid to start messing with the vanilla code as…
  • I'm getting this error after uploading: Some problems were encountered An error occurred while attempting to copy the source image "talk/uploads/pics4cd353e1b3bee4df59c3db62a3252b22.gif". Your version of php (4.4.1) may not have gif support. And I…
  • No, it's picking up anything in the definition. Maybe my path is wrong? It's (off the top of my head) root/conf/language.php
  • Yeah permissions are cool, it's running locally. Kind of weird, not really much in the documentation about it either.
  • I think the dropdown idea is killer. Remouk your idea works if you assume every browses with their windows maximized. I really don't understand why people do that, actually, my browser window is never more than about 900 px wide. I think it'd be …
  • Okay now the language file, things in there aren't being picked up, at all. Do I need enable it or something?
  • Edit: Fixed. Should have put the language alterations in the rile file initially.
  • Yeah I've edited the heck out of it (I know I'm not supposed to, and I guess this is partially why). I'll have to check that out, I don't know why I didn't make that connection :P
  • Also when you say it works perfectly on a PC (a mac is also a pc) what browser are you referring to? IE?
  • You rock, thanks so much!
  • Wow man, quality extension after quality extension. Fantastic work!
  • Your images seem to link to /forum/index.php?gal=Gallery+1&pic=003.jpg Though the script should link to /forum/?Page=gallery&gal=Gallery+1&pic=003.jpg
  • If you download the statistics Add-On you can see how it handles those two operations, and then you can use some copy and paste magic and get it to where you want it. Obviously not the easiest solution, but a fairly immediate one.
  • Hey Mini, just found out we're starting fresh and not porting. Was actually looking forward to the challenge. I'm not too useful with PHP, I can just scratch stuff together to get what I need to work. Feel free to get in contact though if you'd l…
  • Huge Bump! Just been hired to port a vBulletin board over to Vanilla, so a Migrator would sure save my life a bit.
  • Yeah, I could easily manage it on my own, but I'm thinking more for people that aren't so tech savvy. I think the easier it is do anything the more people are going to want to pick up Vanilla. But if there's not interest for this one, that's fine …
  • Just curious if the time stamp issue was still being considered. Know you're a busy guy Jazzman, but I'm evidently far too dumb to do this on my own. Get to it when you can, just figured I'd bump :) Loving the extension by the way, can't imagine …
