I'm getting the same error when I try to load the forum. It was working fine last week. Has this been fixed? EDIT: deleted my cache and it seems to be working...

If it helps, I've got the following plugins enabled: Flagging, Mark All Viewed, Private Community, Tagging and Vanilla Statistics. Let me know if you need anything else to help reproduce the error.

I deleted the controller_map.ini file and now forums are working again! Thanks for that Tim, hopefully this bug will be fixed soon. Do you know if there's something we can do to avoid it?

Yep. I just upgraded to 2.0.17.8 from 2.0.17.3 and there is still no notification of new applicants.

Yea I did that, but I think there are some special configs that get applied during an installation which I don't know of. I tried setting the installed value to TRUE, but then I just kept getting the 404 "Page Not Found" page.

Nevermind. Got it back up and running by doing a new install and then changing the DB name to the existing DB.

I've installed Vanilla 2.0.17.3 and I'm also noticing that the new applicant emails are not being sent out, but other emails are being sent out, e.g., member has been approved.

Convenient indeed. But inconvenient from a usability POV, i.e. "text" would imply text only, as is the case for emails. Anyhow, the extension is definitely useful in its own right.

well I already tried it and it doesn't work. It just seems strange to install the html formatter extension when you don't really need the "html" part of it. Furthermore, an average user could get confused thinking that they need to enable the html…

trying out some html get your Vanilla here how do I make it so that urls are automatically created as a link? e.g. http://www.getvanilla.com

Sorry my mistake, I was still using the theme files from 1.0.3, using the theme files from the 1.1.1 release works. Thanks Mark, love your work.
