The extension "private accounts 1.0" prevents "Invite Friends 0.3" from working.
I've tested this, and turning "private accounts" extenstion on and off enables and
disables "invite friends".
Any clues or hints?

When installed on Vanilla 1.1.2, enabled for all
users with Global Preferences (setting "NotifyOnNewWhisper"
to "1"), no notification of new whispers appear.
Is this perhaps a conflict with Announcement 1.2?
How can I debug this problem?

Simpler than that, issue unique username/password pairs, and then log the use of the "FTP' site to verify the
download for each customer.
Putting a strict policy of "no refunds for claimed inability to download", and making them agree to the
policy…
Wow, thanks... I am impressed.
But I don't think I want to call the Role "Douchebag", as user's roles
can be seen by everyone. :)
I was thinking of something less obvious, like "Members" or

It does NOT work as expected.
If the "New Member Role" is anything BUT "Applicant", one looses the
ability to see the "New Applicant" using the "New Applicants 1.3" extension.

OK, it can be made to work.
"Page Manager" 2.4.3 seems to have a problem, in that if you create a page of html,
it creates a link for the tab that points to a non-existent directory "page" in the

I hesitated to do so, as "Applicant" seemed to be what the Registration Settings
used by default, and I cannot claim to understand the internals.
My concern was that the ability to review and approve new registrations
would be lost if the "New Mem…

Huh? Clearly, either this is a new and highly speculative use of the term "relative" to which
I have hitherto not been exposed, or I have gon…
After checking every possible tab, it appears that the problem is limited to a single tab, the last
one on the list. It is perhaps unique, in that it has a longer title (32 Chars), contains
several commas, and contains an ampersand. The page me…
No application needs to know the URL prefix by which it is reached, as it can use purely
relative means to reach other parts of the code, data files, etc.
This is clearly a bug, in my view.
But nothing has moved...
I have a choice here, between:
and
"http://subdomain.domain.com"
Both URLs point to the same exact place.
Something, somewhere is clearly depending upon the FULL URL,

I'm confused by this advice... doesn't vanilla understand and use the concept of a RELATIVE PATH
to required resources, like css files?
In both cases, the URL may differ, but the RELATIVE navigation from "here" (the root directory
for vanilla) …
Page Management = "http://domain.com/directory/settings.php?PostBackAction=Pages"

Also, when one selects "edit" with the intent of editing a tab or page, one gets a blank set
of fields. It appears that one cannot "edit" a page or tab.
