  • Hi again, I just tested one thing about this and I figured out an annoying consequence of this issue : password reset requests from members will fail because it is based on sending an automatic email which is empty, too. Anyone? An idea? Thanks, …

  • Hi, I've noticed the "link" function creates a link that opens in the same window/tab. Is there a way to format links that are posted in comments so they automatically open into a new tab? Thanks.

  • You're his Mom? '^^ I agree with you, Mark, the team and the community do a great work.
  • From Youtube, do not copy the embed code, but only the URL ( for example) From iPhoto... forget. A message board or a website may display an image only if it is hosted somewhere on the internet and have its own web address consequently ; the simple…
  • checking if Vanilla is easy enough to use, even while epileptic?^^
  • Thanks for your help. I change the title of this discussion so as to keep it for further informations/questions during my work.
  • @[-Stash-], that would be an idea. I would be frustrated if not... so much time spent on it ^^'
  • in fact, in my first drafts, I didn't originally want rounded corners on top and on bottom, only on top ; it's just I couldn't find the way to extend the white content 'till the end of the browser's window. But I may have found a way and avoid the s…
  • thank you! I'll write a comment here and whisper you when it's done. It's a personal work for a personal message board, so there won't be any copyright s**t, then I might release it as an addon through vanillaforums.org...? The problem is I don't kn…
  • I think I found. In Safari's developper tool I noticed there was a tiny little div line upon the account page which corresponded to the account history. In the CSS, there was no height attribute, so I added some. #AccountHistory{margin-left:320px;h…
  • I can't put it online for now, but I'll be able to upload a little package as described in your 2nd line. One thing I must warn about if I don't want to see you getting mad : the style is kinda made of adhesive tape and scratches of paper as I'm far…
  • nice one fmimoso! clean and sweet, I like it.
  • the best way to test is to install it yourself. If your database is still unoccupied, installing a vanilla forum and some extensions will only cost you time! That's what I did (my former PHPBB message board was hosted elsewhere, so I tested Vanilla …
  • thanks to extensions! HTML Formatter, Inline Images, Attachments, Modtools, Vanillacons, etc, etc... I got a great bunch of plugins installed.
  • here's mine. I installed the Organic theme, then customized it manually via a CSS editor. http://www.gbeuc.com/forum
  • same thing. I've just moved my band's forum from a phpbb system to a Vanilla one. I've been working on it for a month (testing, comparing, adding/customizing theme and extensions) and it just opened today. I wanted a different kind of forum (the for…
