Re: Negative symbol next to discussion count
Don't know, maybe. If someone likes to answer it, you would have to look at CategoryModel->counts(). Maybe that could be a fine start for a PullRequest? To fix this you could 1. do a test comment 2. check the categories view 3. run dba/counts if needed 4. delete the test comment But I really don't know if that is worth the… -
Category comment counts are negative after posting via API
I've been loading some old discussion into my Vanilla 3.1 forums and I noticed that after I created discussions posted the comments using the API, the categories in that contain the discussions show the correct number of discussions but show a negative number of comments. I should also note as part of the process I deleted… -

Re: Great Plugin
@phreak It looks like the root category is used for discussions when categories are not in use. Updated the plugin to work in this case. Tag counts are a separate beast. I went ahead and added a refresh counts button for that too. Slightly off topic: Removing spam accounts doesn't use the models (which is definitely going… -
Re: Noindex based on min word count?
I assume you want to filter on the number of words in the discussion and comments bodies. public function discussionController_render_before($sender) { $threshold = C('AutoNoIndex.Threshold', 100); $wordCount = str_word_count($sender->Discussion->Body); if($wordCount >= $threshold) { return; } $comments =… -

problem with dashboard statistics graph
After enabling Vanilla Statistics, a graph appeared on dashboard, showing page views, new memberships, discussions & comments. After a couple of days, the graph disappeared for a few days, then reappeared tonight. The graph frame and statistic counts were still there but no lines on the graph. Anyone else having an issue… -
Re: YAGA for Vanilla 3.2 and up
I installed this a few weeks ago and everything seems to have gone smoothly, but I haven't seen any auto awarded badges since the change, so I'm starting to think there might be something up with them. I currently have auto awards set up for Length of Service, Reaction Count (for likes), Post Count and a custom Points… -
Re: Unsupported comments?
lol I was even thinking about a pull request: public function discussionController_commentOptions_handler($sender, $args) { if ( !Gdn::session()->checkPermission( 'Vanilla.Discussions.Edit', true, 'Category', $args['Discussion']->PermissionCategoryID ) ) { return; } $args['CommentOptions']['ChangeAuthor'] = [ 'Label' =>…
