Not to be a spoilsport, but I can already see requests for "who donated" and amount of donations so far, then a time counter with a goal to meet ......who donated with avatar of donor, and how much they donated .... lol
As I browse the converted Vanilla install I notice a few things, otherwise everything looks pretty good. * I didn't import avatars/photos, so those are missing. * BBCode wasn't converted.
Thanx that is a good move @korelstar. One question. Would my users that have a Vanillicon now and are quiet happy with their Avatar get a new one or stay with the current? They are sometimes quiet unhappy if their userpic changes. ;)
@phreak your site looks great! Can you tell me about your gallery? Did you create that as a Vanilla plugin? @mhk1058 Pinoy is self hosted and doesn't have badges. Are you referring to the avatars?
The date which is shown next to the avatar at the head of a discussion / comment is a link. Use that link. For this discussion the link looks like that: https://open.vanillaforums.com/discussion/38927/clicking-on-a-discussion-link-takes-signed-in-users-straight-to-comment-section
You would not want to remove it from the core since the avatars show all over the site. It is better to make these kind of changes in the offending plugin. Your way is less hackish than what I was think about doing..
Whosonline 1.3.1 installed, works only the User's profile setting page that BONKS! I hope this is not peculiar to me because I scraped codes together from @peregrine help when I needed to show avatars only.
@hgtonight, Ahh, yes that makes sense. I did not have any avatars active so I could not see anything active with the "view" option enabled. I have added avatars and it is working great! I am not very familiar with the badges, but look forward to getting a feel for how it works and creating some nice "promotional"…
V, I'd like to place an order for the above image, but with a different avatar face.and a purple body. I have just the plugin for it. I'm glad r_j is sleeping  , so I can usurp above icon perfect thanks.
well it is just layers , a gif is a bunch of layers you just put them together with any program like graphic converter or any gif maker , even online editors have this available. Then use the avatar image as static background. :)
