Making mentionslookup work with mentions+
Just an FYI of what I did to get usernames with spaces working in mentionslookup. * Install/configure mentions+ as per that plugin's instructions * in mentionslookup::query.js, in a few places where I saw that the mention was getting inserted, I changed '@'+mention+' ' to '@"'+mention+'" ' This of course assumes you're… -

Re: Mentions+ setting problem. Your help will be appreciated.
All fixed now, and support for Korean letters works right from the start! I've uploaded a new version. Now if you simply put in \d\w everything should be fine. You can add underscore, dash and space if you like to allow that characters, too (\d\w_-). Note that usernames with spaces have to be mentioned like that @"힣가 힣가".… -
Re: FeedDiscussionsPlus Plugin updated to support 2.5 (as well as 2.3)
Good news @terabytefrelance - I researched the matter (was intrigued by the problem) and uncovered a way that can retrieve more data out of feed streams created by many feed generators. It would work for the feed that you gave in your example and many more (but not 100% of them...). I think I once mentioned that the… -
My Vanilla mobile vision (I'm allowed to dream in the general banter category)
Yes, I know, we don't need apps, there are those wonderful mobile themes, it's so much work for little gain, mobile development is not the same platform (who does php in mobile?) and probably few more reasons I forgot to mention. But then I challenge anyone who uses a mobile device to commit to only use their browser on… -
Feedback for the Rich Editor
@Linc & @charrondev I know that creating single Issues on GitHub would be better but since the Rich Editor is here used for testing, the feedback could be given here, I guess. And I bet the barrier for giving feedback is lower when it just needs a comment... Furthermore it might be easier to see for other users here what… -
@username script
Not all mine, in fact very little is my code. But for anyone that wants to have a play, this may be a step in the right direction to integrating @autocomplete < !DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">< HTML> < HEAD> < TITLE> @mention autocomplete - 422 < /TITLE> < script type="text/javascript"… -
Re: Do the new line breaks have to stay?
Excuse me for posting on this old thread. In February 2015, @Linc stated: If you want to make it so that <br />\n parses as a single soft break, I'd accept that pull request. Was this fix to the parser implemented? I'm asking because I'm upgrading a Vanilla forum, that has been running 2.1.8p2, for 4+ years. (Sorry about…
