I think that the concept of the discussion count already morphed into "the count of every new discussion regardless of its type" and therefore whoever wants to see the count of the original type discussion (namely,not questions, not events,not polls,not articles,etc.) already "lost" their count. I think that the articles addon serves as a CMS and an article is a more prominent content that can only be created by privileged members. So I would count them separately them from discussions (and also give them their own entry in the profile). Article comments though, are only comments which I wouldn't handle in any… -
