[Solved] Using an existing email during Registration?

hi not sure if you guys noticed.

if i register using an email address already existing in the system...

even though there's an message error saying "Email Unavailable" and then hits save.

Registration will still go thru. is this a bug?

hi guys just digging this one up from the grave. any way to prevent the duplicate email on registration? thanks.

$Configuration['Garden']['Registration']['EmailUnique'] = True;
$Configuration['Garden']['Registration']['NameUnique'] = True;

what about if i need the username to support spaces and other letters like arabic litters ?

You need overwrite function

function ValidateUsername($Value, $Field = '')

You can do it in conf/bootstrap.before.php
