Recent Discussions Widget & Custom Category Permissions
I've (literally today) switched over from phpbb to vanilla, which has went well so far and has been well received by guild mates. However, one thing that has arisen surrounds the recent discussions widget. The vast majority of regular visitors to the site use that as a starting point and "go back" from there. Because we've got a fairly heirarchical structure in games though we've set vanilla up to reflect that, so there's officer-only areas, guild areas and so forth. However, the only discussions that appear in the widget are those ones with guest view access only. Is there a way to get the widget to display items of discussion, regardless of the permissions applied?
