custom theme

I'm following this guide here.

But my theme still does not show up in my dashboard so I can't apply it.

    You've got to make sure your theme's about.php is correctly formatted. Also, the name of the theme where it says $ThemeInfo['ThemeName'] = ... needs to be the same as name, same case as the folder the theme is in.

    Ok, thanks! This was really confusing. I don't see any mention of this step in the guide.
