[Solved] (Unique) Error on page after moving the files to new server*

edited January 2012 in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Hi, we moved our vanilla forum installed to our new server but we cant load the site. I got this error, "Bonk
Something funky happened. Please bear with us while we iron out the kinks.
"

I have already changed the config file. It is now pointing to the new database, new username and password.

What could be the issue with this?

    Add this to your configuration file:

    $Configuration['Garden']['Debug'] = TRUE;
    Reload the page, so you get details about the error and post those details.

    I got this error message

    "Fatal Error in Gdn_Database.Query();
    Table './forum_vanilla/GDN_Comment' is marked as crashed and should be repaired"

    It has something to do with the tables. Can i just do a table repair in phpmyadmin**** and it will fix?

    Ok, i went to phpmyadmin and repair the GDN_comment table. Issue is fixed now.

    Thank you UnderDog and sahotataran for sharing your knowledge.
