Wordpress embedding URL never got validated, but integration is working...weird.

I think many people have problem with Wordpress integration plugin.

I also faced to the problem: "Couldn't find a Vanilla Forum at this url "

Then I tried to check all the solutions for it:

My cURL has been enabled from the beginning.

But I kept seeing the message : "Couldn't find a Vanilla Forum at this url "

However, I checked the Wordpress > Vanilla Forum > Forum Integration> I could see the permalink for my Vanilla forum page.

So I clicked to see the page, and surprisingly, I could see my Vanilla forum got embedded.

I think integration is working well so far (need to check more)

But... the link for VF is not validated. (Wordpress > Vanilla Forum > Setup)

Isn't it weird?

What version of vanilla are you using?

Can you try changing to the default theme?

Wordpress 4.0 & Vanilla Forum 2.1.2

Yes I tried several themes: +Baseline, Embed-Friendly, Bitter Sweet.

All the same result: "Couldn't find a Vanilla Forum at this url ", but I can use my Vanilla Forum page in Wordpress.

This is not unusual. If it work you need not worry.

@x00 mine does not even find the url. Curl have been enabled on my server. Also i tried what's in here https://vanillaforums.org/discussion/28597/solution-couldnt-find-a-vanilla-forum-at-this-url but didn't work.
