Is it possible to display uploaded images in the discussion list view?

Is it possible to show an image that the author has posted with their discussion and display it in the discussion list view under the discussion headline. The idea would be to set a maximum height say 200px.

sure its possible. it would be easier to write the plugin if it was an attachment rather than inline.

the question I have if your development staff can do all the work for you, couldn't they answer the questions as well, since they are doing the development, they certainly have some knowledge of vanilla, It doesn't preclude you from asking questions, just curious though.

Thanks for the info here it's really helpful.

My dev team could answer questions but the project we are developing is so big, they are new to Vanilla, and they spend most of the week "plugged in" with a lot of backend work so we don't have real-time contact.

Rather then presenting them with tons and tons of questions about features I would like, for them to then go out and research and maybe ask on here themselves, I'm trying to help assist by seeing if things have already been done on here first by other developers that use Vanilla. This way I can help get the project moving faster and it's better if I can give them working solutions or plugins in the first instance.

Hope that's ok, also if the solutions, fixes, and plugins are added to this forum it will surely help others in search of the same thing at any point in the future :-)
