Clarifying How To Change To Auto Approval

My forum is currently set so all applicants have to be approved by me, but I want to change this to auto approval. I read vanoob's comment here: http://lussumo.com/community/?CommentID=86744 but am still a little unclear. Do I change the New Member Role > Applicant so they have Membership Approval Role > Member ???

    Should do the job yeah.

    Next to "New Member Role" select "Member". This translates to plain english as, "Assign new members to the role: Member". By doing this, they immediately have access based on the permissions assigned to the member role.
