After upgrade no 'howdy' block appears on home page. How to get it back?

    Update to beta 4.

For this particular issue, did you delete all ini files from the cache dir?

well, even when my install was close to beta 2, it was there IIRC.
Anyway, upgrade, nobody cares about a beta of 4 months ago.
And yes, you should delete ini files too. (maybe even Smarty cache templates).
  • Should i upload (overwrite) the vanilla files completely? will this mess with current plugins themes config etc?

    Follow the procedure there:
    http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/17159/vanilla-2.0.18-beta-4-released

Some themes could use a revamp afterwards indeed.

I'm not using tarballs, so no idea exactly. (I'm using git fetch and then merge).
  • ok ill give that a shot. thanks :)

\ Still no redirect or action (except popup closes) after deleteing a discussion.
\ in dashboard no stats appearing
