How can I display a toolbar with formatting icons?

This discussion is related to the NBBC addon.

Some of my users are not familiar with BBcode, or prefer not to manually enter the tags. For them, I'd like to provide the standard set of toolbar icons (B, I, U, link etc.) that can be seen in all other forum software.

This plugin doesn't do this right now so you'd either have to extend the plugin or write another one to do what you want.

@dandv you have probably found a way by now, but for those of you who are interested, the Button Bar plugin works for this!
