I am new to vanilla and look around in forum how to embed vimeo.

It's only you tub who's working for me, is there any easy solutions how to embed vimeo.

Im on ipad, so no idea. Perhaps vimeo doesnt use html5.

just popped in office yep it works lol , wish I had known before . Vimeo is far superior to youtube

I put vimeo embed code in discussions. But not shop up.

I can see vimeo film only then I editing the content.

Is there any soutions for this or have I done som wrong with settings?

I think you need buttonbar, i could be compketely wrong.

Can you share a link and test account to your forum?

Buttonbar is easier to use.

It's hard to ascertain your exact issue without knowing your exact setup.

I have install out of box no extra setup only try with WYSIWYG and button bar. Nothing is working the vimeo film only visible then I edit the conten. Same problem with Youtube.

Try posting vimeo video here exactly like you are trying on your forum

I think if you have a default (out of the box) setup and you install buttonbar, you need to adjust something in the config.php

After that, the button bar should work.

2 options : a) Figure out why vimeo is only showing when you edit the discussion
b) get button bar to work and see if vimeo is showing with buttonbar enabled.

Can you create a test account for and then PM the info to either me or 422?

I know now what the problem is.

You have to paste the old Vimeo code. I have paste the new vimeo code that are designed for iPad ande more.

Now is working on my site.
